When I had a baby with me, and other babies within the cradle was working 12 hour shifts cleaning floors and tear off wallpaper. Ha! Everything was starting to fall in place, yet there was still a long way to go. This was going take money, effort, as well as my personal favorite to furnish this house. To keep within the budget, I started going with my boys to estate sales looking for of diamonds. When our house was furnished, I still couldn't give up! There was a market in the area for me to market my items. Eventually I had more pieces that I could decide about and outgrew the space. The house became a venue that I hosted open houses, where up to 1000 visitors could see the items on my first floor and purchase them. Growing Days was created in the home. My business was not only expanding, but so was our family of four. Being a new mom I was able to find the perfect equilibrium to start my own business as well as be a good mother. Growing Days just fit. Nora, my 4th kid was born in 2013. I adored where my business was heading but I needed a break. I decided to take some break from my antique furniture and stay at home with the children. That was precisely the thing I needed. After a few months that my phone began to call. They asked for my help in interior decoration and home renovations. It was mostly those who came to my open residence to buy furniture. I began taking on clients one at a time going at my own pace but it didn't take for long to have several accounts, and I was operating an entire home improvement business. Had you told me my company would become the premise for a DIY Network show, I would probably have laughed. It's hilarious to look back about the idea.
