Julia-roberts
Julia Fiona Roberts is the daughter of Betty Lou Bredemus, and Walter Grady Roberts. She was born on October 28, 1967. She was born in Atlanta. Roberts is the fourth Roberts generation to live in Atlanta from her great-grandfather, a farmer John Pendleton Roberts. Her father was keen interest from a young age in the stage. While attending Emory University in 1952 he participated in plays on campus as well as elsewhere in Atlanta. He joined the Air Force and while stationed at Biloxi in Mississippi, he acted in the production of Betty Lou Bredemus. They married in 1955. Their first baby son Eric Anthony, was born in the year 1956. Walter was an undergraduate at Tulane University, New Orleans Louisiana. In 1957, the couple quit the Air Force and Walter started studying at Tulane. In 1960 the family moved into Decatur Georgia where Walter began working for Atlanta's Academy Theater and the Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio. In 1964 Walter as well as Betty Lou began production on a local Saturday morning children's television program called Bum Bum and His Buddies which they funded by themselves. Later that year they founded The Actors and Writers Workshop which was in operation for six years. They welcomed in 1965 two new children: Lelisa Billingsley as well as Julia Billingsley.
